Revenue grew 15% year-over-year, indicating healthy expansion. Expenses of $409K exceeded revenue, resulting in a 13% operating deficit.
Equal Rights Institute trains pro-life advocates to think clearly, reason honestly, and argue persuasively.Think Clearly:The organization wants pro-life advocates to dialogue well with pro-choice people, and clear thinking goes hand-in-hand with good dialogue. Even when two people are being polite, their conversation will get stuck if they cant find clarity on where they disagree and why. The organization helps pro-life advocates not only to reason well through difficult arguments but also to ask the right kinds of questions so they become better at understanding different views.Reason Honestly:Part of reasoning well is being willing to evaluate arguments honestly. It is very easy to go into an argument with a predetermined conclusion, but doing this opens people up to self-deception. The organization encourages pro-life advocates to be open-minded, even about abortion. While this may seem to exhibit a lack of confidence that abortion is wrong, its actually quite the opposite: one shou

A summary of the organization's primary programs (excluding speaking engagements or its online courses) are separated into the following categories:Short-form videos: After launching both Instagram Reels and TikTok Videos in January 2022, the organization has continued to utilize short-form video content to engage with pro-choice arguments and model persuasive dialogue to pro-life advocates. These Instagram Reels have been the standout content story of the last several years for the organization. While a steady increase in video views has been noted, Instagram analytics do not provide yearly view totals, so they have not previously reported these totals. However, this year they decided that manually calculating the view totals for each video since the channels inception was worth the headache, and they were thrilled to see the results: In 2022, the organizations Instagram channel received 621,314 views. In 2023, the organizations Instagram channel received 4,941,851 views. In 2024, the organizations Instagram channel received 8,046,611 views. These dramatic increases year-over-year on Instagram have also been accompanied by steady growth of their TikTok channel, which amassed 2,710,200 views in 2024. YouTube videos: In 2024, the organization's YouTube channel has garnered 62,151video views, totaling 1,850 hours of pro-life content watched. This was 61% less than the previous year, also because we weren't producing nearly as much video content while completing Equipped for Life Academy. The YouTube channel has already bounced back, receiving 76,792 views in the first half of 2025 alone.Podcasts: We took a hiatus from producing the podcast in 2024 in order to divert resources to completing Equipped for Life Academy. Affiliate Groups: The organization's affiliate group club program continues to expand. By the end of 2024, the program included 45 clubs across 17 states and three countries, with a combined active membership of 1,868 individuals. The organization was particularly excited about the addition of a third country, as three groups from India joined the program in 2024.

Online Courses:Equipped for Life Academy: Completing the production of the organization's new religious high-school curriculum was the primary mission. This curriculumconsisting of lesson plans, activities, slides, videos, assignments, assessments, and grading rubricswas crafted to meet state education standards and denominational religious requirements. Because of that, Equipped for Life Academy is suitable for use by Christian and Catholic high schools, religious education programs, and homeschool families. The curriculum was finally published in December 2024, completing a three-year production. Once completed, the organization immediately went to work promoting the curriculum to dioceses, schools, homeschool groups, and individuals with contacts in religious education. The organization also received a dozen glowing endorsements in the months that followed. This curriculum will challenge and equip students on abortion in a way that has not previously been possible to do at scale in classrooms across the country, and it is designed to foster productive conversation between pro-life and pro-choice students both in and out of the classroom.Other online courses: The organization publishes a lot of its core content in online courses, a format that is helpful for systematically guiding people through a lot of information no matter where they are in the world. Online courses are scalable, meaning there is no artificial limit to how many people can be helped by them in the way that there are limits to how many people can attend a live speaking event by an ERI speaker. The organization published the Equipped for Life Course on practical dialogue tips and pro-life apologetics in 2016 and the Sidewalk Counseling Masterclass in 2019. The first course includes 38 lessons (making up about five hours of video content), along with group activities for students to digest the material by answering questions or practicing together. The second course includes 16 lessons (making up about seven hours of content), a workbook with organized notes, easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions, FAQs, and 40 practical tips. As of December 2024, 4,965 individuals were enrolled in at least one of the organization's online courses.

Speaking engagements: The organization engages in platform speaking events across the country to spread practical dialogue tips, rigorous philosophy, and relational apologetics. These include speaking events at universities, conferences, churches, pregnancy center banquets, and full-day seminars.Since ERI began in 2014, it has spoken to 40,627 people at 345 speeches and 39 seminars in four countries, 29 states, and the District of Columbia as of December 2024.
