THE BITTING-NORMAN POST CONFORMS WITH THE NATIONAL CONSTITUTION. LOCAL AMERICAN LEGION PROGRAMS STRENGTHEN OUR COMMUNITY. AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL IS ONE OF THE NATION'S MOST SUCCESSFUL AMATEUR ATHLETIC PROGRAMS, EDUCATING YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT THE INPORTANCE OF SPORTSMANSHIP, CITIZENSHIP AND FITNESS. THE LEGION ALSO HELPS VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING TIMES OF NEED AND PROVIDES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES.
