THE FRANCISCAN CENTRE SPECIALIZES IN CARING FOR OLDER ADULTS WHO BENEFIT FROM COGNITIVE ENGAGEMENT, STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES, SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES, MEDICATION MONITORING AND NUTRITIOUS MEALS IN A SECURE ENVIRONMENT AND COMBINES MEANINGFUL, STIMULATING ACTIVITIES WITH SPECIAL FOCUS ON INDIVIDUALS WITH SHORT TERM MEMORY LOSS.WE PROVIDE TWO MEALS AND A SNACK TO OUR DAY PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS EACH DAY. MEALS ARE A GREAT TIME TO SOCIALIZE AND EXCHANGE STORIES WITH OTHER DAY PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND STAFF. OTHER BENEFITS OF THE CENTRE INCLUDE MEDICATION SUPERVISION, FAMILY SUPPORT GROUPS, OUTSIDE FIELD TRIPS, MOBILE PODIATRY, A BEAUTY SHOP AND A THERAPEUTIC GARDEN.
