THE OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC OFFERS PRIVATE LESSON MUSIC INSTRUCTION IN VIOLIN, VIOLA, CELLO, BASS, PIANO, VOICE, PERCUSSION, WOODWINDS, BRASS, COMPOSITION, AND MUSIC THEORY. OUR ARTIST-FACULTY OFFER 40 PRIVATE LESSONS PER YEAR TO OVER 800 STUDENTS. APPROXIMATELY 15% OF THE STUDENTS RECEIVE SOME FORM OF FINANCIAL AID.

THE OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC PROVIDES THE STRING SPROUTS PROGRAM TO 900 YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR CAREGIVERS FOR 32 WEEKS OF GROUP LESSON INSTRUCTION THAT CULMINATES IN A PERFORMANCE WITH THE OMAHA SYMPHONY ANNUALLY. STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM FOR 5 YEARS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 3-8 YEARS OLD AND RECEIVE A VIOLIN TO TAKE HOME FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR ENROLLMENT IN THE PROGRAM. STUDENTS ATTEND ON A SLIDING SCALE, WITH 80% ATTENDING FOR FREE.
