Homestead Youth Arts Center (HYAC), in partnership with Paramount Dance Studios, has been the predominant provider of scholarship opportunities for school-aged students in our community, serving over 75 students in our dance program, giving our students the opportunity to attend six competitions a year, two 3-day educational workshops and weekly dance classes throughout the school year to ensure individual growth and achievement. PCDT reached approximately 2,800 people in the Homestead and Florida City communities through 2 outreach programs that were free to the public, bringing awareness to the community about the importance of dance educational programs that nurture the integrity, health, and welfare of our at-risk youth.
