THE BIOME, A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION, IS AN INDEPENDENT PUBLICLY SUPPORTED CHARTER SCHOOL LOCATED IN THE METROPOLITAN AREA OF THE ST. LOUIS MISSOURI PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE SCHOOL WAS ORGANIZED IN 2014 UNDER CHAPTER 355 REVISED STATUTES OF MISSOURI (RSMO) AND GOVERNED BY SENATE BILL NO. 781 OF THE 89TH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE MISSOURI LEGISLATURE.
