Services provided include programs for young people including those in/impacted by systems at 8 sites across NYC, including detention centers, family shelters and public and charter high schools. Lineage also teaches professional development (PD) trainings for adults who work with young people inside systems to 1) acknowledge and help mitigate their (and their peers') compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and burnout, and 2) learn how/when to employ mindfulness tools at work-to support both themselves and young people. In 2024, OUR THIRD COMMUNITY PROGRAM COHORT GRADUATED FROM OUR COHORT-BASED, INTENSIVE MINDFULNESS TRAINING PROGRAM. A SMALL GROUP OF ALUMNI CONTINUED ON AS FELLOWS, AND WORKED WITH US TO CREATE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR YOUTH SERVING ORGS NYC-WIDE. ALL STUDENTS WERE PAID STIPENDS FOR THEIRPARTICIPATION AND TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE PROGRAM.
