Zakat fund was established to receive Zakat donations made by any member of Dawoodi Bohra Community during the month of Ramadan. According to Quranic principles, Zakat funds are to be spent for the poor, the destitute, its administrators, those whose hearts are to be won over, freeing from bondage, helping those overburdened with debts, in Allah's cause, and the wayfarer.
