In the fall of 2023, the Chicago Architecture Biennial opened CAB 5: This is a Rehearsal, a city-wide exhibition and series of public programs led by the artistic team Floating Museum, co-directed by Jeremiah Hulsebos-Spofford, Faheem Majeed,Andrew Schachman, and avery r. young. The project explored how contemporary environmental, political, and economic issues are shared across national boundaries but are addressed differently around the world through art, architecture, infrastructure, and civic participation. The fifth edition of the Biennial featured the work of over 80 architects, artists and designers from around the world and engaged over 200,000 visitors.
