NICK'S KIDS FOUNDATION, INC. ("NICK'S KIDS") RAISES FUNDS FOR DISTRIBUTION TO: (1) 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS, (2) OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS FOR THE PURPOSES OF ADVANCING CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, RELIEF OF THE POOR, DISTRESSED OR UNDERPRIVILEGED, ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OR SCIENCE AND ERECTING OR MAINTAINING PUBLIC BUILDINGS, MONUMENTS OR WORKS, AND (3) PROVIDING FUNDS OR EQUIPMENT TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS FOR USE IN CONNECTION WITH PROVIDING EDUCATION, MEDICAL CARE AND OTHER SERVICES TO THOSE IN NEED. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION IN THIS NARRATIVE, NICK'S KIDS WILL NOT FURTHER ANY SPECIFIED PURPOSE TO MORE THAN AN INSUBSTANTIAL DEGREE OTHER THAN THOSE DESCRIBED IN IRS 501(C)(3). IN FULFILLING THESE GOALS, IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE NICK'S KIDS WILL SOLICIT PUBLIC DONATIONS THROUGH LETTERS, BROCHURES, EMAIL AND PERSONAL REQUESTS. IN ADDITION, ONE OR MORE GOLF TOURNAMENTS AND SIMILAR EVENTS ARE PLANNED FOR THE PURPOSES OF RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT OUR CHARITABLE PURPOSE. SOLICITATION OF DONATIONS WILL BE PERFORMED BY THE FOUNDATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS. FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES WILL OCCUR ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY WITHIN THE STATE OF ALABAMA, BUT MAY LATER EXPAND BEYOND THIS STATE. ALL EXPENSES NECESSARY TO OPERATE THE FOUNDATION WILL BE PAID THROUGH DONATIONS TO THE FOUNDATION. IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE FOUNDATION'S EXPENSES WILL NOT EXCEED 20% OF THE DONATIONS RECEIVED.
