"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1:7 From Walso: The staff of Future Hope Haiti would like to thank all our supporters for the great efforts you are making to help people in the Mirebalais community. Huge praises to God for this year: -Walso and his wife have a beautiful new baby daughter.-The radio station, which was down for several months, has new equipment and is running 24 hours a day sharing God's Word. -Silfaude graduated! -50 students received scholarships which include tuition, books, and uniforms. -Despite the takeover of the government by the gangs, and curfews due to the gangs, Future Hope Haiti was able to continue with all of the programs of our mission: Radio station, Bible and Breakfast, After-School Tutoring, Awana, School Scholarships, and Awana. -After-School Tutoring has been filled to capacity, and we have found a couple of much needed new tutors. -God has provided all that we have needed! Prayer Requests:-We are having difficulties sending money to Haiti due to a change in format with Bank of America. -KORE, who graciously provides much needed protein in the form of eggs to our Bible and Breakfast, lost 2,000 chickens. They have 2,000 more chickens, but they are too young to produce, and so we are without eggs in the mornings. -Nelseau, one of FHH's tutors, lost everything except for his life and the life of his family in a house fire. Thank you so much for your support during 2024! We make a difference in the lives of so many!
