LICAA IS A NON-PROFIT AND NON-SECTARIAN ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY THROUGH LEADERSHIP, COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS, MULTI-CULTURAL PROMOTION AND SERVICES. LICAA'S OBJECTIVES ARE: - SERVE THE LONG ISLAND CHINESE COMMUNITY - PROMOTE MULTI-CULTURAL ARTS, AND INTRODUCE THE CHINESE CULTURE AND TRADITIONS TO THE COMMUNITY - FOSTER COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS, VOLUNTEERISM AND LEADERSHIP - PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION AND AWARENESS AMONG OUR MEMBERS - REPRESENT THE INTEREST AND CONCERNS OF CHINESE RESIDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY
