PARTNERS IN MISSION - OUR LADY OF GRACE DEVELOPMENT FUND WAS FOUNDED IN 2014 TO FINANCIALLY ENABLE THE EDUCATION AND CARE OF CHILDREN AT OUR LADY GRACE SCHOOL IN KISUMU, KENYA. OUR LADY OF GRACE SCHOOL WAS FOUNDED IN APRIL 2008, SERVING THE MANY NEEDY YOUTH FROM THE KISUMU AREA OF KENYA. THIS DOMINICAN SCHOOL IS NOW HOME TO BOTH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY STUDENTS WHO ARE ORPHANS AND THOSE MOST MARGINALIZED BY POVERTY IN THE KISUMU VILLAGE AREA.IN 2014, UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF A DIVERSE BOARD, WHICH INCLUDED THE DOMINICAN SISTERS OF HOUSTON, THE NONPROFIT CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY TO SUPPORT OUR LADY OF GRACE SCHOOL.SINCE ITS INCEPTION, OUR LADY OF GRACE, HAS CONTINUED TO PROVIDE QUALITY EDUCATION AND CARE FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 240 STUDENTS WHO LIVE AND LEARN WITHIN ITS WALLS. IT HAS BECOME AN ACADEMICALLY COMPETITIVE SCHOOL IMPROVING ITS STATE TEST SCORES EACH YEAR, AS WELL AS A DOMINICAN SCHOOL STRONGLY COMMITTED TO ITS CATHOLIC HERITAGE.
