Neighbor 2 Neighbor (N2N) provides the homeless in the Pendleton area with warm and safe overnight accommodations within a quiet and welcoming atmosphere from November 15 through March 15 when the potential for hypothermia is elevated, and temporary shelter services at other times. The Warming Station was open 121 nights this year with the season ending March 31 Congregate shelter was again provided this year. The Warming Station opened at 1830. Lights were turned out at 2200 with all guests expected to be in their bunks by that time. Lights were turned on at 0500 and guests were expected to be out of the building by 0600. Total number of individuals served was 152. The average evening guest count was 14.8. A total of 1794 lodging nights were provided.

Operation of the Pendleton Day Center: The Day Center provides homeless individuals shelter from the elements during selected hours of the day when temperatures are abnormally hot or extremely cold. The Day Center is also open Mondays in the afternoon for showers, mail services, snacks, clothing and other services to homeless individuals. The day Center can provide short term lodging for homeless individuals with special needs such as illness or when accompanied by small children. For the reporting period, the Day Center was open 36 days, assisted 93 different individuals with an average daily count of 9.9.
