In 2023, The International Eczema Council had 6 in- person symposia, AAD in San Diego(American Academy of Dermatology) RADLA in Peru, SID in Dallas (Society for Investigative Dermatology) EAACI in Spain (European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Congress), ESDR in Portugal (European Society for Dermatological Research), and EADV in Netherlands (European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology). These Symposia typically draw a large audience, many of whom are though leaders in dermatology who teach others regarding atopic dermatitis. The IEC Councilors and Associates also convened throughout the year at both in-person and virtual meetings to develop and publish peer reviewed manuscripts and choose IEC Fellows to participate in the IEC Fellowship Program.
