TO PROMOTE, ADVOCATE FOR, AND ACHIEVE HEALTH EQUITY FOR ALL BERNALILLO COUNTY INHABITANTS AND COMMUNITIES,FOCUSED ON FIVE DESIRED RESULTS: HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES WHERE ALL FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS HAVE THEIR BASIC NEEDS MET AND PROSPER. IMPROVED HEALTH AND EDUCATION OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN / YOUTH FROM PREGNANCY TO AGE 25. IMPROVED HEALTHCARE ACCESS AND QUALITY OF SERVICE FOR UNINSURED AND INDIGENT POPULATION HEALTH EQUITY. WE WILL WORK TO PROMOTE EFFORTS FOR HEALTH EQUITY AND WILL ALSO WORK TO DISMANTLE POLICIES, SYSTEMS, AND ENVIRONMENTS THAT LEAD TO INEQUITIES. TO ENGAGE IN HEALTH PROMOTIONS THAT ENABLE PEOPLE TO INCREASE CONTROL OVER THEIR OWN HEALTH.
