Boise Pride Festival, Inc. produces the annual Boise Pride Festival and Parade, which celebrates and supports the LGBTQ+ community in Idaho through cultural programming, community engagement, and educational opportunities. The event brings together community members, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and allies to promote inclusion, visibility, and support for LGBTQ+ individuals and families. In 2024, the organization hosted the Boise Pride Festival and Parade, featuring live entertainment, community vendors, nonprofit exhibitors, and family-friendly programming. The event provided opportunities for local organizations and businesses to connect with attendees, while also raising awareness and resources for LGBTQ+ causes and services in the region. Like many events in recent years, the organization continued to experience rising costs due to inflation and the increased security and safety measures required to host a large public gathering. Despite these challenges, Boise Pride Festival successfully produced a safe, welcoming, and well-attended event that continued to strengthen community connections and visibility for LGBTQ+ individuals across Idaho.
