The organization distributes nutritious groceries on a weekly basis, provides meals to families with children when school is not in session, shares nourishing food through free community meals, equips community members with tools to grow and prepare food, and connects people facing diet-related health conditions to fresh produce grown at local farms.

The Coralville Community Food Pantry is an anti-hunger nonprofit built on a simple belief: food is a human right, and access to it strengthens the entire community. Our mission is a hunger-free Coralville, and every program we run moves us closer to that goal. Our flagship Food Assistance Program uses a member-choice model, giving individuals and families in the greater Coralville community the dignity of selecting food and personal care items that actually fit their lives. In 2025, we provided 1,180,129 pounds of food to 1,994 households representing 5,086 people. For neighbors facing health or mobility barriers, we bring that same choice directly to their doors, averaging 110 home deliveries per week. Beyond our pantry, we feed kids during school breaks and summer months, host Free Community Meals that bring people together around the table, promote healthy eating through our Seed Library and Veggie Connect Programs, and reduce the stigma of food insecurity through our Community Fridge at the Coralville Public Library, accessible to anyone, anytime. We rely heavily on in-kind support, in the form of food and volunteerism, to fulfill our mission of providing hope and nourishment for the community. In 2025, over $1.9 million worth of food was donated from various community partners and individuals.
