Girls Unite engages a wide spectrum of youth across different levels of play. We field teams in Northern California Premier and San Francisco Youth Soccer. In FY 2024-2025, Girls Unite continued to provide youth soccer programming for young girls and women within the San Francisco city limits. Girls Unite expanded programming to provide an in-house league for preK-1st graders better meeting community needs. Girls Unite also created a fully-funded SFUSD program to get youth playing in public schools free of charge, focusing in underserved San Francisco city zip codes. Girls Unite continued to provide year round programming and working to build a complete player pathway from ages 3 to 16. Girls Unite hosted the first large scale tournament for trans youth, hosting teams across the country. Girls Unite also offered community donation-based fitness clinics during the summer to help engage youth during the off-season and maintain growth. Through these combined efforts, Girls Unite continues to expand access to sport, foster inclusive spaces, and support the physical and social-emotional development of youth across San Francisco.
