The World's Fair Bid Committee Educational Fund works to inform citizens of the United States about the value of international expositions, often referred to as World Fairs and World Expos, During this past year we experienced modest organizational growth, including increased participation in first-hand information gathering and sharing in two World Expos - Dubai EXPO 2020 and Expo Osaka 2025. In the case of the Dubai Expo, the Worlds Fair Bid Committee Educational Fund participated in educational programs both in Minnesota and in Dubai at the Expo site, and we used the internet to make these educational programs available to millions around the planet. We worked closely with the organizers of the upcoming, in 2025, Osaka Expo on a range of public education issues, designed to boost Minnesota citizen awareness of and desire to participate in Expo Dubai. During the year we have been able to support efforts to bring a World Expo to the United States, specifically to Minnesota in 2027 and to other interested cities, like Houston. We anticipate that activities in each of these areas will continue to grow.
