ARCWCCO provides free advice, consultative meetings, protecting the rights and access to services for people with IDD. ARCWCCO offers comprehensive advocacy within school systems, government, insurance and other community systems and agencies.In 2023, the client Advocacy caseload totaled 220 direct contact clients, in which 70% were under 21 years old and 30% were 22 years and older. The caseloads for 21 year olds and younger clients involved school advocacy and the criminal justice system assistance. For adults, these caseloads involved heavy advocacy and consulting for accessing resources and working towards total independence as an ultimate goal. As anticipated in 2022, caseloads continued to rise.

ARCWCCO provides general administrative community and agency outreach and education to the interested public, government agencies, families and clients.ARCWCCO attended, held, sponsored or contributed to over 21 community partnership events. We also scheduled collaborations, stakeholder meetings in regards to education, training and outreach. These events happened in multiple counties within the state of Colorado and other states. The ARCWCCO also attended over 5 state and national trainings for staff, advocates and board members.
