This year, the Indiana Recovery Alliance became a Recovery Community Organization to better connect with the local community. As an organization, we acquired a grant that allowed our staff to administer HIV and HEP-C tests to assist with treating and preventing diseases. Additionally, our Naloxone saturation efforts resulted in a significant drop in overdose deaths in 2024. These achievements have strengthened the foundation of our programs, such as our Syringe Service Program and Street Outreach Program, which demonstrate harm reduction principles and equip drug users and unhoused individuals with survival supplies.
