Direct Legal Services: Jubilee Immigration Advocates (Jubilee), founded in 2015, provides free and affordable immigration legal services to marginalized and vulnerable immigrants in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide a mix of free and low-fee services. Our core services include family-based immigration, humanitarian relief for survivors of violence and abuse, removal defense and naturalization. This fiscal year, we served more than 800 individuals and handled approximately 800 matters. Over one-third of our clients are Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) and over one-half are Latinx. About 85% of our clients have incomes at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Our clients are typically not proficient in English. Every staff member and volunteer at Jubilee speaks a second language. Our staff currently includes 6 attorneys, 1 fully accredited DOJ representative, 2 administrative staff and 1 intern.
