The Early Education Cooperative Preschool serves students and offers a childcare program based on research and best practices in education and child development. Inspired by both the Emilia Reggio approach as well as The Creative Curriculum, we provide developmentally appropriate classrooms which create a community of learners where the students are encouraged to play, explore and research the world around them. With the help of grant funding, we were able to hire two additional staff members to provide support to the teachers and keep our student-teacher ratios low. We have continued to grow enrollment in our morning and afternoon programs as well as our extended aftercare program. We were able to provide tuition assistance to several families due to a successful fundraising season.
