PRIMARY CARE: Primary care practices provide expert care for preventive health and routine checkups. Care Network Medical Group has a world-renowned networK of physician specialists who can help with any medical issues that arise. A primary care physician (PCP) is a patient's main health care provider and is involved in short and long-term medical care. Every type of primary care physician is on staff, including Family Medicine Physicians, Geriatricians, Gynecologists, Internists, and Pediatricians. Many clinics also employ nurse practitioners. As a result, patients can receive the primary care services needed across a patient's lifetime. PCPs work side by side with any specialists to treat a disease or condition. Together, PCPs and specialists effectively co-manage patient health and ensure that patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care. Services provided include Annual wellness exams and preventive screenings for men, women and children, Immunizations and developmental screenings for children, Onsite outpatient procedures and diagnostics, School and sports physicals, Care for urgent medical issues, such as upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, sprains and bronchitis, and Care for common chronic conditions, such as diabetes, allergies, high blood pressure, asthma, arthritis, anxiety and depression. Many clinics also have onsite lab testing (e.g., blood sugar readings, urine analysis) so testing can be done at the same time patients visit physicians.
