A Line in the Sand Self-Guided Experience: Enjoy the complete A Line in the Sand Self-Guided Experience with the Victory or Death Audio Tour, narrated by Ray Benson and entry into the Alamo Exhibit. The self-guided audio tour leads you through the Alamo Church, grounds, and includes 11 stops in the new Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center where you can view the Phil Collins Collection and more! The Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center: Experience the Collector's Journey at the Alamo Exhibit in the new Ralston Family Collections Center. View the Phil Collins Collection, including the Battle of the Alamo Diorama featuring his narration, explore artifacts from the Donald and Louise Yena Spanish Colonial Collection, engage with interactive exhibits, and more! Alamo Church Free Entry: Experience the iconic Alamo Church. Established as a mission, it later became a military stronghold for Texas Independence. Entering Alamo Church is always free. To help preserve the historic site, visitors will need to reserve their free ticket to enter the Church ahead of their visit. Victory or Death Audio Tour: Upgrade your free experience with the Victory or Death Audio Tour, narrated by country music singer, songwriter, actor and nine-time Grammy Award winner, Ray Benson from Asleep At The Wheel. This 45 minute, rich audio production with a total of 37 stops truly brings the story of the Alamo to life, featuring sound effects, music and interviews with the Alamo's expert curators and historians. Living History Encampment: Make your way to the Alamo's living history encampment, behind the Church, to meet the Alamo's history guides - known as living historians. Enjoy hands-on demonstrations about daily life at the time of the Texas Revolution. Discover what people wore, how they looked after their health, and what essential skills they had to master, such as fire-starting, leather working, and how to take care of their firearms. Musket Firing Demonstration: Take in the sights and sounds of a musket firing demonstration. Learn all about the main weapon used at the Battle of Alamo, the flintlock musket. This 15-minute presentation covers the history and use of flintlock firearms, a quick tutorial on how to fire, and live firings done by the Alamo Living History staff. Alamo Film: Enjoy some time inside and view the Crossroads of History, a 17-minute film that covers 300 years of history at the Alamo. This educational film is free of charge and is shown in the Long Barrack continuously throughout the day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday. Alamo Podcast: Explore all the ways we Remember the Alamo with this new audio storytelling journey, Stories Bigger Than Texas, featuring in-depth conversations about the Alamo's past, present, and future. Alamo Private Tour: Reserve a private guided tour for your group of 15 to 60 people during normal business hours. An experienced Alamo history interpreter will walk you through Alamo Plaza, revealing the story of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo and taking you to key battlefield locations that are today hidden under San Antonio's streets. Includes entry to the Alamo Church and the Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center. After Hours Private Tour: Create a private after hours tour experience for a group of friends, family, or co-workers. The after-hours tour offers an unforgettable experience for out-of-town guests, corporate groups, private ceremonies and receptions, and more. After hours tours are similar to private tours, but take place at 5:30 p.m. or later when the Alamo is closed to the public. Private Events: Create an experience bigger than Texas!
