In 2022, the world began to recover from the COVID pandemic. In the US there were some easing of lock-downs and restrictions on movement, jobs and community engagement. However, many people continued to struggle to earn income to pay for living expenses including food; consumer prices for food and fuel rose dramatically due in part to supply chain issues. The Company continued its program (FeedNJ) that addressed both hunger in NJ and the damaged food service industry in NJ. In addition, the Company was awarded a grant funded by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. The Company raised funds from individuals, businesses and charitable organizations as well as grants from foundations and governmental agencies to purchase prepared meals from local restaurants and had them delivered to local hunger relief organizations.
