In the prior year, the organization provided grants to the following non-profit organizations to support specific projects as identified in their grant proposal. Dutton Farms Expansion of the community horticulture program designed to provide employment opportunities for adults with special needs. Includes the construction of a new community garden and greenhouse that is open to the public. Pontiac Lighthouse Support new family emergency homeless shelter. WAVE Project - Support expansion of their program and purchase of an ADA-compliant trailer which provides safe, accessible and free shower services for homeless individuals, the elderly and individuals with disabilities in the community. Hannan Center - Support Organization Cause. Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program - Support Organization Cause. Accent Pontiac - Support Organization Cause. Freedom House - Support redesign of the organizations facilitys unused front yard to enhance participant and community members well-being and improve neighborhood safety.
