In 2023 - GENESIS STEAM provided the Innovator Kit to K-12 school and after school programs in Los Angeles. The Innovator Kit is a robust, STEAM enrichment program fostering collaborative project-based learning developed by experienced STEAM educators. Through the program, students combine ART with TECHNOLOGY to innovate solutions and problem-solve collaboratively.The Innovator Club has been developed for K-12 teachers, and isa plug-and-play (all standards aligned) curriculum that is designed to:1.Augment and strengthen current STEAM curriculum.2.Use Art + Tech to teach students how to innovate solutions to real world challenges.3.Increase students logic, creativity, and collaboration skills.Jan 2023 - June 2023: Spring SemesterGENESIS STEAM expanded the distribution of our Innovator Kits to a total of 35 classrooms in 18 Title 1 schools and after-school programs throughout Los Angeles, reaching 1,050 students in grades K-12.June 2023 - September 2023: SummerThink Together contracted GENESIS STEAM to be an official provider of STEAM programming for their Summer Camps. With our expanded partnership with Think Together, along with our continued partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs METRO, we provided 12 summer camp sites with 81 Innovator Kits, providing STEAM programming for 3,705 youth during the summer.September 2023 - December 2023: Fall SemesterWe launched a new partnership with Compton Unified School District to provide GENESIS STEAM Innovator Programs for their STEAM Labs. We distributed Innovator Programming to 27 schools within the Compton Unified School District in Fall 2023. We also partnered with the Los Angeles County Office of Education to send Innovator kits to 10 LAUSD title 1 schools. We continued our after school STEAM programming for Think Together and the Boys & Girls Clubs by providing Innovator Kits for 13 after school programs. In total we provided STEAM programming for 1,500 students in Fall 2023.
