Mission

Friends of SJF, Inc. exists to support St. Joseph Family Mission and other religious organizations in Haiti by raising funds and providing financial support for St. Joseph Family Mission and other religious organizations in Haiti that are engaged in combating the systemic issues of poverty, disability and neglect. The programs of St. Joseph Family Mission include providing safe housing, mentorship and education opportunities for poor and disabled children in Haiti. Friends of SJF, Inc. in cooperation with St. Joseph Family Mission has also started the "Wings of Hope Child Sponsorship Program". Individuals are encourage to commit to make annual contributions of $480 which will be used to help provide food, clothing, housing and programs for one child for a year. Since it costs much more than $480 to provide for a child at Wings of Hope, children have multiple sponsors. We also have a second sponsorship program for classrooms at Lekl Sen Trinite at the rate of $960 per year.
