Port City Cat Rescue, founded in 2015, is a small nonprofit in the Animal-Related sector that reported $221K in total revenue in fiscal year 2024.

Mission

Our purpose is to rescue cats at risk of euthanasia from animal controls and homeless cats off the streets. We provide them with safe shelter and medical care and adopt them into loving homes. We also spay and neuter cats to decrease the overpopulation problem of cats in the Shreveport-Bossier area. During the year we save over 500 cats. All of the cats brought in receive medical care vaccination food care shelter and anything else they need. We hold adoption events at pet stores and our facilities and use Petsmart and Petco adoption centers to find homes for the cats.
