The primary program expense is providing medical care, proper nutrition and housing. Expenses within this include bedding, cleaning supplies, food, entertainment (toys/chews etc) and training. Many discarded dogs require some form of training to learn how to function in a household. 270 dogs were rescued from the streets or shelters, received full medical care and were either adopted or placed in a forever foster home. 36 dogs received specialized training for specific behaviors to make them adoptable. Medical care ranged from basic shots and spay/neuter to major surgery and rehabilitation. Many of our disabled dogs require carpeting to remain mobile.
