A COALITION COMPOSED OF EUROPEANS- AIRLINE EMPLOYEES, PASSENGERS, COMPANIES, AND MANY OTHERS WHO ARE FIGHTING TO SAVE EUROPEAN AVIATION JOBS. THE GOAL OF THE COALITION IS TO ESTABLISH A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD WITH COUNTRIES THAT EXCESSIVELY SUBSIDIZE THEIR AIRLINES IN VIOLATION OF EUROPEAN AIR SERVICE AGREEMENTS. EUROPEANS FOR FAIR COMPETITION (E4FC) IS CALLING ON INDIVIDUAL NATIONS AND EUROPEAN UNION GOVERNING BODIES TO ENFORCE INTERNATIONAL AVIATION AND TRADE RULES, ENSURE COMPETITION IS FAIR, AND END MARKET DISTORTION AS A CONSEQUENCE OF EXCESSIVE STATE SUBSIDIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

E4FC HAS SOUGHT TO RAISE AWARENESS OVER FAIR COMPETITION ISSUES IN INTERNATIONAL AVIATION, ESPECIALLY AS IT RELATES TO EU-GULF ROUTES AND ISSUES OF SEAT DUMPING AND SUBSIDIES. E4FC'S EFFORTS HAVE BEEN UNDERTAKEN THROUGH COALITION BUILDING, WITH NUMEROUS AIRLINES AND EMPLOYEE GROUPS WORKING TOGETHER UNDER THE E4FC UMBRELLA TO WORK TOWARDS POLICIES, INCLUDING THE REVISED 868 REGULATION IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, THAT WOULD PROMOTE FAIR COMPETITION. THE COALITION FORCE HAS ALSO SPOKEN ON NUMEROUS PANELS ON AVIATION, CONDUCTED MEDIA OUTREACH AND INTERVIEWS, PROMOTED AN EDUCATION CAMPAIGN THROUGH PAID AND SOCIAL MEDIA, AND ENGAGED AVIATION WORKERS, TRAVELERS, AND INTERESTED STAKEHOLDERS IN AN EFFORT TO PUSH FOR FAIR COMPETITION.
