The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County Foundation was established in 2015 to steward and grow the Clubs endowment to provide long term financial support to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County, and the youth & families they serve.The Foundation's mission is to provide significant financial support to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County through growth and stewardship of our endowment to improve the lives of current and future Mercer County youth.Foundation Functions & ActivitiesBoard of Trustees supervises the Foundation Director in operations of the foundation, has fiduciary oversight of the endowment, investment policies and operating budget of the Foundation and develops and supports the implementation of the Foundations Strategic Plan.The foundation provides annual financial support to the Club. Each December the Foundation makes a 4% contribution of its endowment balance to the Club. In 2024 this gift was approximately $292,000. While the majority of these funds are undesignated, some are designed towards teen scholarships, capital/facility projects, and specific programs.
