NEAAO works hard to empower women, children, and teens through aspirational programs, health and wellness, domestic abuse prevention, education, and career opportunities. NEAAO welcomes new refugees and immigrants coming into Maine and supports their needs with resource opportunities and education. Resources support community members in transition into Maine communities, and is based on expressed needs of new Maine families and youth.NEAAO is also engaging teens in leadership and mentoring roles for younger community members. NEAAO partners with many local organizations including Catholic Charities, Through These Doors, the Maine 4-H Foundation, the State of Maine, and more.
