MERCY HOSPITAL, INC., HAS CONTINUED TO SERVE THE MOUNDRIDGE COMMUNITY SINCE 1944. WITH THE CONVERSION TO A RURAL EMERGENCY HOSPITAL (REH) ON 1-1-2024, MERCY HOSPITAL PROVIDES 24-7 EMERGENCY ROOM CARE, OBSERVATION SERVICES, OUTPATIENT LAB, RADIOLOGY, AND SURGERY, OUTPATIENT PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL, AND SPEECH THERAPY, AND OUTPATIENT INFUSION SERVICES. OUR MEDICAL STAFF CONSISTS OF SEVEN FAMILY-PRACTICE PHYSICIANS, FIVE APRNS AND FOUR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS. THE FOLLOWING STATISTICS ARE OFFERED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 9-30-2024: 27 MEDICARE, MEDICAID, AND MEDICARE ADVANTAGE ADMISSIONS AND 29 DISMISSALS (ALL PRIOR TO 12-31-23); SWING BED DAYS - 823; EKGS PERFORMED - 254; OUTPATIENT THERAPY - 5,780 INSTANCES OF SERVICE; ER VISITS - 840; OBSERVATION ENCOUNTERS - 57; OUTPATIENT SURGICAL PROCEDURES - 108, OUTPATIENT LAB ENCOUNTERS - 4,821.
