CATTLE PRODUCERS AND FEEDYARDS BRING CATTLE THAT THEY HAVE RAISED TO THE LIVE SHOW WHERE THEY ARE JUDGED FOR WEIGHT, CARE, AND HEALTH OF THE ANIMAL. THE PUBLIC COMES TO THE EVENT AND IS EDUCATED ON THE FEEDING PROCESSES, THE CARE THAT GOES IN TO RAISING BEEF CATTLE, AND HOW THE CATTLE COMPARE TO OTHER AREA PRODUCED CATTLE. THE CATTLE ARE THEN PREPARED FOR THE CARCASS SHOW THAT ALLOWS THE PUBLIC TO VIEW THE ACTUAL BEEF PROVIDED BY THE ANIMAL. THE PUBLIC IS AGAIN EDUCATED ON THE ACTUAL BEEF PRODUCED FROM THE COW AND WHETHER IT IS GOOD BEEF AND THE STANDARDS TO LOOK FOR IN BEEF CATTLE. THE CATTLE ARE JUDGED BY PROFESSIONALS IN THE BEEF INDUSTRY AND THE BEST PRODUCER WINS A PRIZE.
