The corporation combines affordable access and training with golf's unique ability to instill and develop essential values, such as honesty, integrity, confidence and a solid work ethic in young people who are introduced to the game, in line with the objectives of the First Tee Corporation with which the club contracts. In addition to golf instruction, young participants at the facilty receive "Life Skills" instruction to help those children make positive life choices relating to personal responsibility, illegal drug avoidance, educational opportunities and generally equipping the children with the positive self-image necessary to succeed.
