Clubhouse and Food Program - A vocational and social rehabilitation program providing services to people diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness in Sedgwick County, Kansas. The program provides the following services: job skill training, job placement, supported education, health and wellness, social and recreation activities, and mental illness education. On July 1, 2019, Breakthrough Club, with the help of Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services, started working with other agencies across Kansas to develop other Certified Clubhouse programs. The food program run by the Breakthrough Club provides a hot breakfast five days a week to low-income people and provides food on an emergency basis to individuals who are a part of the programs of the organization. In 2023 20,062 people benefitted from the food outreach program.
