Campus life comobines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life and positively impact their schools. Campus life is a place for middle or high school students to have fun, make friends and talk about matters to other middle or high school students. Campus life provides a balanced approach - physical, mental, social and spiritual - to give pre-teens and teens the skills and hope they need to live in a turbulent world. The purpose of city life is to help young people to develop attitudes and behavior patterns that allow them to function more constructively in society. The City Life work program emphasis the following: 1. Teaching basic life skills, work ethic and employment responsibility. 2. Providing an opportunity for a relationship with a caring adult role model. 3. Promoting and developing positive self-image through Jesus Christ. 4. Creating opportunities for positive peer group experiences. 5. Sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While all of the Youth for Christ ministires share the same purpose, they meet and interact with students in different areas. City Life meets young people in ther neighborhood or small community, many of whom are at risk and have already had some form of contact with the justice system. Juvenile Justice, through institutions or social service agency contacts, connects trained adults with young poeple to help them make good choices and establish a solid foundation in life. Parent Life connects trained adults with pregnant girls and teenage parents in programs designed to help them make good choices and establish a sold foundation, not only in their lives, but also in the lives of their babies. Every ministry of Youth for Christ seeks to engage young people wherever they are found as life-long followers of Jesus Christ.
