Riverview Health Services permanently closed our doors to patients on March 30, 2020. For over 30 years, the staff of Riverview Health Services have assisted the people of Wyandotte County with much needed social services, help with accessing medication and help with accessing certain medical supplies and health education. We have been honored to serve the Wyandotte County area as we filled various gaps in services over the years as they arose. Since December 2019, we worked diligently to reach out to many of our patients to renew and reorder medications. We also contacted other health care providers, community partners, and safety net clinics in our geographic area to try to find resources for our patients to access after we closed. We appreciate our partners' time, thinking, ideas, and the efforts of those who have added services to their already busy operations to help close the gap for the uninsured and underinsured in Wyandotte County. Riverview staff developed a Patient Resource List in English and Spanish to help guide patients to other places to get help with medications, medical supplies, and diabetes education.
