ASSISTANCE IS MADE AVAILABLE TO MEADE COUNTYS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES AND STATE GOVERNING AGENCY PROGRAMS TO PREPARE INDIVIDUALS FOR EMPLOYMENT WITH MEADE COUNTY BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRY. ASSISTANCE IS OFFERED TO EXISTING SERVICES AND SUPPORT BUSINESSES. MCEDC OVERSEES AND CO-ADMISTISTERS WITH GREAT PLAINS DEVELOPMENT, COVERING SOUTHWEST KANSAS COUNTIES, MICRO-LOAN GRANT FUNDS AWARDED TO MEADE COUNTY AND RURAL BUSINESS ENERPRISE GRANT FUNDS AWARDED TO MCEDC FOR START-UP AND EXPANDING MEADE COUNTY BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRY.
