Life Patterns provides training on the person centered planning process which is required by the State of Kansas. Tools to provide individuals with timely information on upcoming changes and employer ideas and resources needed to be an effective and successful employer include presentations, newsletters, podcasts, periodic recipient workshops with nationally recognized speakers, and a website.

The State of Kansas offers the option of a limited scope license for services for a person with a disability. Life Patterns, Inc. was among the first in Kansas to obtain a limited license and has developed a training notebook with the experience gained by going through the application and implementation process. When requested, Life Patterns provides assistance in determining if this is an option the recipient should pursue. Life Patterns also assists limited licenses with billing and payroll services, as well as information and assistance on final rule requirements and industry and employment related issues.
