DELAWARE WILD LANDS (DWL) IS DEDICATED TO PRESERVING AND CONSERVING CRUCIAL NATURAL AREAS IN THE STATE OF DELAWARE, COLLABORATING WITH CONSERVATION PARTNERS TO SAFEGUARD WETLANDS, FORESTS, FARMS, AND OTHER UNDEVELOPED LANDS AND WATERS. THROUGH PRIVATE OWNERSHIP OF 21,800 ACRES OF DWL-OWNED LAND, THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS AND ENHANCES WILDLIFE, FLORA, AND FAUNA HABITATS WHILE MONITORING SPECIES POPULATIONS, DISTRIBUTION, AND LAND USAGE. DWL'S RESTORATION EFFORTS EXTEND TO VARIOUS COASTAL HABITATS, INCLUDING TREE PLANTING PROJECTS, TRAIL AND ROAD MAINTENANCE, AND CREATING AND ENHANCING WETLANDS.
