IS AN AFFILIATE OF VALLEY HEALTH SYSTEMS, INC., WHICH WAS FOUNDED IN 1975, AND ONE OF THE ORIGINAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT LAID THE FOUNDATION FOR THE CURRENT NATIONAL SYSTEM OF COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS. VALLEY HEALTH SYSTEMS AND ITS AFFILIATES PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE, QUALITY HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO EVERYONE, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON THE UNDERSERVED AND VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS OF THE COMMUNITIES. THE SERVICES PROVIDED UNDER THE SYSTEM'S SCOPE INCLUDE PRIMARY CARE (FAMILY MEDICINE AND INTERNAL MEDICINE), BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, DENTAL, CARDIOLOGY, OBSTETRICS (PRENATAL CARE, LABOR AND DELIVERY, POSTPARTUM CARE), GYNECOLOGY, OPTOMETRY, PEDIATRICS, OTOLARYNGOLOGY, AUDIOLOGY, GASTROENTEROLOGY, PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICES, DIAGNOSTIC LABS, ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY AND X-RAY, AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER SERVICES- ALL OF WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED TO PATIENTS INCLUDE NUTRITION EDUCATION, DIABETES EDUCATION, SERVICES ADDRESSING SOCIAL DRIVERS OF HEALTH, PATIENT ADVOCACY SERVICES, CLINICAL PHARMACY, AND CHRONIC CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES- ALSO REGARDLESS OF A PATIENT'S ABILITY TO PAY. FOR ELIGIBLE PATIENTS, SERVICES UNDER THE BLACK LUNG PROGRAM, ADOLESCENT HEALTH PROGRAM, AND HEALTHCARE FOR THE HOMELESS ARE ALSO PROVIDED. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE TO ALL PATIENTS, AND CERTAIN DISCOUNTS ARE PROVIDED FOR THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED $892,844 IN CHARITY CARE TO INDIGENT PATIENTS.
