In 2024, the DPA offered 9 continuing education (CE) workshops totaling 29 CE credits. Out of the 9 CE workshops, 3 of them were specifically psychoeducational trainings for licensed clinicians to enhance their skills and understanding of the traumatic effects pertaining to COVID.

The DPA was awarded the third of three installments in 2024 by the American Rescue Plan Act to support psychologists, licensed mental health clinicians and healthcare providers with trainings specific to COVID related trauma, including assessment, treatment and prevention planning. This funding will continue be used to support the public with psychoeducational resources pertaining to COVID related trauma and long COVID ending in May of 2025.
