TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE AWARD, THE RESEARCHER MUST BE NOMINATED BY A COLLEAGUE, BE A RESIDENT OF AND CONDUCT RESEARCH IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA AND BE ACTIVE IN THE ARENA OF CLINICAL AND/OR BASIC CARDIOVASCULAR RESEARCH.
