The Hijra House Hijra Just Water Initiative was not able to maintain progress with its aquaculture operations in 2023. COVID complications exacerbated ongoing equipment and inclimate weather setbacks. Further our digital oyster planting oyster farming and boating safety curriculum efforts were hampered by COVID cautions public health concerns and a slower more cautious pace by all of Mississippis Coastal communities during the pandemic. Hijra House also works to identify build grow and share a new narrative around foundational causes and working solutions to socioeconomic challenges that confront low and moderate income individuals and low and moderate income areas.
