MMC provides hospital services without regard to ability to pay, including medical and surgical inpatient and outpatient services, emergency room care, labor and delivery, and neonatal intensive care among other services. In Fiscal Year 2025, Mercy admitted 17,951 inpatient and observation cases, 18.6% of which was Medical Assistance revenue. MMC's largest major service category is Surgery and Centers of Excellence representing 61.8% of total hospital revenue.
