Adult Day Health: Iona's award-winning adult day health program provides holistic, individualized, and person-centered care for older adults in a safe, medically supervised and social community. Professional medial and program staff care for and engage older adults living with Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease, dementia, intellectual and developmental disabilities, diabetes and stroke, and many other chronic conditions while providing support and respite to their family caregivers. In FY 25, Iona's Washington Home Adult Day Health Center (Congress Heights) and Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Wellness & Arts Center combined provided 130 older individuals with 11,609 days of care while supporting 112 family caregivers.

Consultation, Care Management and Counseling: Iona's social service programs provide support for older adults and family caregivers provide support for older adults and family caregivers facing difficult transitions, isolation, loss of family and social supports, and/or serious health challenges that impact their safety, well-being, and ability to remain in the home of their choice. Through these programs, a multi-disciplinary team of compassionate and highly trained social workers, psychotherapists, and registered nurses provide intensive, customized, person-centered support, information referrals, and other solutions to older adults and families, helping them navigate complex challenges. In FY 25, 3,637 individuals received care management, information and referral, and counseling services.
